Videogame Sales Climb With Grand Theft Auto

Videogame sales jumped in April thanks to a strong debut by the blockbuster title Grand Theft Auto IV, but the game failed to produce new sales of the next-generation gaming consoles it was designed to play on.

Sales of videogame software in North America climbed 68% in April from the same month last year, according to data released late Thursday by the NPD Group.
